Workshops for Organizations and Tour Groups

If you are considering bringing your group to Yeruham, there's no better way to experience the past, present and future of the town than through a baking workshop at Lehem Zeh. Our workshops tell the story of bread as a cultural touchstone as well as a connector between different peoples.

 

In Yeruham, a town with extreme diversity, bread serves as a meeting point between cultures, and Lehem Zeh facilitates this connection as well as igniting local economic development by providing local bakers with a platform to grow their small businesses.

 

Through the preparation of a cultural bread close to the heart and tradition of the lead baker, the participants will hear about memory, tradition, aliyah, social activism and more.  At the conclusion of the workshop the participants will take their freshly baked breads home, or enjoy a spread of breads, dips, fresh vegetables and more (at an additional cost).

Our organized group workshops have been enjoyed by Birthright, the Jewish Agency, private companies, tour providers and more. Workshops last 1.5-2 hours and are appropriate for groups of 15 or more. If you have a smaller group, please get in touch with us to explore small group options.
